Release Date: March 30, 2017

synopsis

Three life-altering months …   That’s how long it’s been since Amelia Greyson joined the Just an Illusion Tour with Bastards and Dangerous. She’s made new friends, embraced her past, and even found love.   Back on the road …   Following a tragic situation, Amelia is determined to hit the road, put her life in order, and finish the book she was hired to write. Mel’s not the only one affected by what happened; the men of BAD are all trying to move forward, not wanting the past to ruin the remainder of their farewell tour.   Brother vs Brother …   Tensions are high on the Weston brothers’ bus. As each brother settles into their role in Amelia’s life, secrets threaten to rip their relationship to shreds. Can Noah and Sawyer find a way to save the brotherly bond they share? Or will the woman of their dreams end up tearing them apart for good?

review

The woman did it again. She done left me in suspense AND crying my eyes out.

When we open the book, we find out that Mel has survived the attack on her and Noah and after holding my breath for a chapter, we find out that Noah survived as well. However, we are immediately stumped by who is giving Mel an ultimatum early in the story. We follow along with Bastards and Dangerous (BAD) as they restart their farewell tour through the memories of Mel as she is writing to finish her inside story on the band.

Mel is reluctant, to say the least, to write but her deadline is quickly approaching and despite what has happened and what it is she must make a decision about (and who will receive the answer) the clock is ticking.

We are immediately caught up in the spell D. Kelly weaves as Mel, documenting the band as faces more deranged fans, personal demons, happiness beyond measure and a tragedy so out of the blue, I had to immediately email her and ask what the hell! Of course, she pled the fifth and said all will be answered in EP, the third and final book of the Just an Illusion trilogy.

If you haven’t read Just an Illusion Side A, get out there and do it now so you can pick up this book, a pack of tissue and tell your loved ones to leave alone until you’re done.

So as Belle would say, till next time Slammers and don’t forget live today as there is no tomorrow xoxo

Just an Illusion – EP is coming June 21, 2017
