Review: Alluring Surrender by Skye Turner

I received this book series as a Christmas present from my boys and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them (well, I haven’t read the fourth book… I had to read on a business trip and lost it on the airplane).

Alluring Surrender focuses on Cruz Edwards, a smoking hot drummer for Bayou Stix and Tiffanie Jefferies, an equally hot paramedic. The attraction is instantaneous but due to a family secret it’s a long uphill battle for Tiffanie to win the heart of the man she wants.

I LOVED this book. So much so that I contacted the author through facebook and told her so! My favorite line out of the book was said by Cruz’s mother, who went through her own battles which are described in the book: “I don’t believe in coincidences.”

And after asking for a sign to see if I should continue fighting for something, neither do I.

This book contains adult contain and subjects not suitable for young readers, strongly recommended for readers 18 years and older.
