Author Interview: John Mathews

John and I ‘met’ through emails and I find him absolutely amazing. Please grab a cup of coffee (or tea), pull up a chair and take a few minutes to get to know this great author.

LW: Let’s start with an easy one, what’s your full name?
JM: It’s John A. Mathews

LW: Where are you from?
JM: Cleveland, OH
LW: Get out! I lived there for just about a year. One winter there and I was done!

LW: When and why did you begin writing?
JM: I love good stories

LW: What has been your favorite thing to write so far?
JM: My first novel, A Game of Greed and Deception

LW: What is your favorite part about creating a story? The least favorite?
JM: My favorite part is creating shocks and plot twists that will stun the reader. The least favorite is the editing process that requires going back over everything time and time again.
LW: I hear you on that one.

LW: What do you consider your biggest accomplishment professionally? Personally? JM: As a tenured University professor, I have gotten a great deal of satisfaction from enriching the lives of young people.
